Weak Velcro. Blows away weeklyThis is an OK firewood rack for the money, but I expected just a bit more as there were cheaper options available. I received a unit in the mail where one of the smaller cross brace pieces was bent to the point of being unusable. I contacted customer service and they quickly sent out a new piece. Once this arrived, it looked as if the piece was dragged behind a car for a few miles before it was sent out to me. I used the piece and quickly put together the rack. It was a simple project that lasted no more than 15 min. The fire wood rack looks pretty good and has a great partial cover on it. I really like that feature. I did notice about a week and a half after putting the rack together, that the paint was not adhered as solidly as I would have hoped. This was especially true near the inside corners. Sadly, where the paint was not the best, there is rust that has started to form. It has only about 2 weeks for this rust to start. I am hopeful that it won't spread too quickly. Without the rust issue, I would have given this a 4 star review.Could have been an OK product but it was missing all the cross members for supporting the base. I called customer service two days after receiving it (almost a month ago) and they took all my information to send out replacement parts. I guess they decided not to send any parts as it is still a pile of junk.Ended up buying one from Home Depot as the rain is starting and I can't wait to get my wood in for the winter.I travel a lot so while I was out, my wife though out all the packing materials. I guess I'm stuck with a bunch of poorly painted metal for a welding project. Also, the paint is applied right over dirty steel so it flakes pretty easily. What a huge waste of money.Update: over a month has passed and the correct parts have shown up. Given the time it took to receive them, I still wish o went a different route. And yes, the paint is peeling off of them as well.Bought two of these last spring as I'm tired of trying to balance the perfect woodpile. Just had a cord of wood delivered and stacked it today; I am SO pleased with my purchase!! Frame is sturdy, easy to assemble, and made my wood stacking MUCH easier! I set them up on a brick patio after reading others' reviews about the need to set them on a flat surface. I looked at the covers but haven't yet tried them as my wood height exceeds the upper limits of the frame; they seem sturdy enough though I may use my tarps to cover the whole length of the stack once it starts snowing. Hopefully these will serve me well for years to come!Directions were easy to follow. There were extra bolts Included. Very similar to one ordered at Costco. Came with a small cover for top portion of wood.So far rack holds up well. This rack is just OK. A brace was missing in the OEM packaging and one of the rack end braces was twisted and required straightening before installation. The assembly instructions indicated one person could put this together, well maybe, but it would be far easier with two. The nuts are not lock nuts and no lock washers were included so count on it becoming wobbly with use and/or commit to checking bolts for tightness on a regular basis, (or buy lock nuts-prior to assembly.)I wouldn't get too excited about the cover, I can see that as more problems than it's worth. All in all I forego the purchase, save my money and build my own. I don't foresee this rack lasting over the long or medium term and who wants to spend $125.00 for a wood rack for a season or two.For $125.00 you could build quite a wood rack.Overpriced and crappy hardware. They don't even include washers. Nicht zu EmpfehlenIt works great for storing firewood at the lake, and keeping it dryDie einzelnen Teile des Regals waren gut beschriftet und ließen sich problemlos zusammenbauen.
