It doesn’t hold any more dishes than a regular drying rack, but I bought it specifically to free up counter space and it accomplished this beautifully. It is very sturdy and creates a much nicer aesthetic in the kitchen than the old drying rack that sat on the counter. If you’re looking for compliments from visitors, then this rack will accomplish that.The ‘fruit bowl’ definitely doesn’t get used as intended. We use it as a spot for mugs, drinking glasses, and awkwardly shaped items like peelers and Tupperware. Also, I still haven’t figured out how to effectively use the hooks. If you hang a mug on one then it just gets a pool of water in the bottom of it. For these reasons, I gave it 4 stars for storage instead of 5. Like I said, if you’re buying this in the hope that it will hold a whole lot more dishes than your old drying rack, you will likely be disappointed. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase so far and feel it was worth the money.I am so happy to have this for my kitchen, however there are two things I can’t figure out. One is the basket that holds vegetables, sags a bit, although I still use it. And the other thing is I don’t know what to do with those blue “things” that are supposed to be for the silverware holder. Other than that I am pretty happy with it because it takes air space and uses it so that I’m not missing so much of my counter space.I don't have much counter space in my apartment kitchen so this was absolutely perfect for me! The picture instructions on how to assemble the dish rack was easy to follow. I was amazed on how sturdy the dish rack is. I placed it right over the sink and it holds everything from pots and pans, to dishes and bowls, cups, cutting boards, knives and utensils. You can customize on how each drying compartment is set up on the dish rack by placing them on the side and/or order that you want, which is also nice. What's really great is that I could place my colander of veggies/fruits after washing them up onto this rack to dry so that I could place used dishes into the sink while I do my meal prep. This over the sink dish rack helped free up space on my kitchen counter that now I am able to leave my rice cooker or Instapot on the counter instead of storing it away.Easy to assemble and fast. Ready to use 30 minutes out of the box. Like some 2 tier I ordered, this one wasn't as tall and perfect for the space I had for it as well my height.We wanted a new dish rack, but very specifically did not want anything flimsy. Reviews of some other popular, cheaper racks left us hesitant. Selected this one after lots of comparisons, and so glad we did. This rack is very sturdy, the pieces have nice heft to them. Love that the seller offers individual parts as well, if we want to add more utensil baskets. The width was perfect for our sink too. Only two drawbacks, both of which may only apply to some set ups: 1) The suction cups do not adhere to our textured counter surface, but rack still feels secure without them and 2) Our traditional faucet and separate sprayer limited our flexibility with the lower attachments, so the cutting board rack has to hang towards the outside instead of over the sink. Overall, we LOVE this new rack and are so excited to gain a section of counter back!I never buy anything without reading the reviews but rarely write one. This arrived today and my life may never be the same. 10 minutes to put together. All the bits and Bobbles well wrapped and packaged. One of the horizontal bars had a slight bump in it but I faced that minuscule irregularity towards the wall. I have so much more counter space. My clean dishes don’t have to go on a musty mat. The onion peels just fall right down the garbage disposal. My quality knives are comfortable and close at hand. It holds 2 broad wooden cutting boards and a pizza peel with ease. Feels really well balanced. The suction cups are a little small but seem to be holding well. AND my husband never had an excuse to leave the sponge in the sink again. I’ll update of my delight shifts but I am very pleased with this purchase today!Overall, I'm happy with the function of this item but there are some problems to consider before making this 115$ purchase.My three baskets up top do not line up. No matter how I configure them by switching them around, the baskets are all different heights and even crooked as seen in attached photos. Not acceptable for for a 115+$ item. I would expect better quality control.Also seen in the yellow circle in the photo is an example of the weld points that are visible. Almost appear as a bite mark or a missing tab.Don't expect the perfect appearance you see in photos. You can't zoom in enough to notice this detail. Only see it when it's in your hands. Disappointed in this! Beware.The 4 plastic end plugs came in white. I was expecting black as shown in photos. Once again inconsistent quality control.The metal bars are light weight and flimsy. Aluminum construction and not truly stainless steel material? The wall thickness of the metal is paper-thin. I bolted the frame together outside and when bringing in, I felt I had to be cautious bring it in through the door. I was afraid that the the construction and material is so delicate that it might catch on something and bend beyond repair.Some corners are so sharp, I'm afraid it'll gouge my skin. Might have my husband sand them down but I don't want to promote premature rust/oxidation of the metal.This is just another case of purchasing through amazon where the item received confidence inspiring reviews, lots of stars and I end up with a sub-standard item once all is setup. Now, the package is opened and non-returnable/refundable.Hardware came with a couple extra bolts and washers.Hopefully this will stand the test of time.I really wanted this to save some precious counter space in my weird little kitchen.It does its job, but it is so very expensive for what it is!Also, does not fit that many dishes/pots, I don’t think this would be helpful in the kitchen of a large family.It is very easy to assemble, took me approx. 10 min.Also: make sure you have enough « clearance » above your sink and above the highest shelf/basket.The description provided here is pretty thorough with allthe measurements.I love it and sort of hate it too....❤?Love how easy it makes my life.??Hate how it makes me wants the dishes done all the time ???Did not work for my high faucet kitchenGood quality, sturdy construction, very happy with purchase. I've had for over a month, no rustThe hook at the back of the detergent basket is not attached properly. On the whole the product is good and very functional except with the above defect. If not, I would have given it a four star or more.
